My brother-in-law is traveling which means sushi. Sushi from Kira with my sister. Need I say more. The best sushi I know.

Spent the weekend at Dad’s with the brothers, sister, nephews and a niece.

I had a great birthday this year. It started with a long morning recovering from my friends Ann Marie and Shawn’s wedding the night before. Then on to the a long tradition from college, of lunch at PizzaHut. I had no problem talking Rick into this tradition…greasy pizza and free refill soft drinks in combination with a hangover. After a little bit of research we found the nearest one was in Scarsdale , NY (bad economy, the one in Grenville closed). I think we both gained about 10 pounds, which we both don’t need. Than as expected food coma kicked in that afternoon.

That evening I headed over to my sister’s house. Watch the movie Cars with my nephew Owen and Pito and my sister made my favorite meal for dinner

Okay, it has taken me five days to sort through these photos. Like every year, Rick and I headed to the Newport boat show on dealer day. For some reason this year we ran out of time to see everything. At the end of the day it didn’t matter when we were at the Smoke House drinking mudslides.

Three years ago we started in the kitchen brewing with a kit from More Beer. We spent several months following other people’s recipes to brew beer. With pretty good results.

The rain did keep the boat show from happening. This year we had some beautiful boats. Below is the the 109′ Burger motor cruiser and a custom 90′ boat.

The new job has taken me to Boston this week and last. In case you don’t know I have taken on the Director of Technology job at RealCME (My development team is in Boston). It has been a while since I have visited the great city.

After living there for a few years, it feels good to visit. I also get to ride the Acela train.
